Making Family Camping Trips a Breeze

The weekend of April 3rd to 5th marked an unforgettable rendezvous with approximately 22 sites booked for a Western Cape Combined outspan at the picturesque De Hollandsche Molen campsite in Franschhoek.

Upon reaching Millers Point on Friday evening, we were met with an overcast, dark, and very windy night.

Oostewal Caravan Park, located in Langebaan, is one of our favourite parks because it is within walking distance from the beach, pubs, restaurants, shops as well as a well-stocked Spar.

Stillewater Campsite is situated on a working farm in Rawsonville. The campsites are divided into various camps (kraals) which offers a peaceful, quiet location for groups who enjoy nature.

Stillewaters 19th - 21st April 2024 The Browns set off for Stillewaters at about 1.00pm on Friday and were expecting to arrive after the 2pm. arrival time, as stipulated by the park.

Badgered by the wind, we yet again did not make it down to the River sites. Up to our usual spot by the pool we settled, due to the park being quite full.
